I established Property Debt Collection Limited in 1993 after several years within the property management industry. I noticed that despite the set credit control procedures in place, only a small percentage of tenants made payment on time, which lead to huge debtor lists and massive financial strain on the managing agent to carry out management company tasks.
My chief objective was to find a cost effective solution to decrease the arrears in the shortest possible timescale and on 14th May 1993 I succeeded and collected my first debt of £444.00.
Over the last 17 years I have continued to expand the business incorporating the latest legislation and honing the recovery process. I now employ over 30 staff, have an “in-house” team of solicitors and paralegal staff successfully recovering over 17 million pounds in service charge and ground rent arrears for over 90 clients nationwide each year.
