The transaction brings together two highly complementary specialist legal services businesses and creates a stronger platform for future investment, innovation and growth. PDC Group, comprising Property Debt Collection, PDC Law and PDC Conveyancing, will continue to operate under its established brands and remain focused on delivering the same high levels of service and expertise that clients have come to expect.
The acquisition forms part of Canford Group's long-term strategy to build a diversified, technology-enabled legal services group and represents the first acquisition since Queen's Park Equity's investment in the business in December 2025. PDC's specialist expertise in property debt recovery, litigation and conveyancing further strengthens the Group's capabilities and broadens its presence within the legal services sector.
Commenting on the announcement, Reece Wheeldon, Managing Director of PDC Group, said:
"Today marks a significant and exciting moment for everyone at PDC. Our success has always been built on the dedication of our people, the trust of our clients and a relentless commitment to delivering outstanding service. These foundations were established by Joe Tona and have been strengthened over many years by the exceptional team we have today.
As we explored opportunities for the future, it quickly became clear that Canford Group shared our values, culture and ambition. From our earliest conversations, we recognised a genuine alignment in how both organisations approach client service, business growth and investment in their people.
Joining Canford Group gives PDC access to additional resources, expertise and long-term investment while allowing us to remain true to who we are. We will continue to operate under the PDC brand, with the same leadership team, the same focus on our clients and the same commitment to excellence that has driven our success to date.
This partnership creates exciting opportunities for growth across all areas of the business. By combining our expertise and leveraging shared technology and operational capabilities, we are better positioned than ever to enhance our services, support our clients and create new opportunities for our people.
Most importantly, our clients can be confident that it remains business as usual. They will continue to work with the same trusted teams and receive the high-quality service they expect, whilst benefiting from the strength, scale and investment that comes with being part of a larger group.
I am incredibly proud of what the PDC team has achieved so far and excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. We look forward to working closely with David Nash, the Canford team and Queen's Park Equity as we begin the next chapter of PDC's journey."
PDC Group will continue to serve landlords, managing agents, management companies and homeowners across the UK, providing specialist debt recovery, legal and conveyancing services. The acquisition ensures continuity for clients while creating a strong platform for future growth and innovation.
