I noticed that despite the set credit control procedures in place, only a small percentage of tenants made payment on time, which led to huge debtor lists and massive financial strain on the managing agent to carry out management company tasks.
My chief objective was to find a cost effective solution to decrease the arrears in the shortest possible timescale and on 14th May 1993 I succeeded and collected my first debt of £444.00.
Since this time, my hand selected team have helped to hone and advance our approach to arrears recovery to ensure our Clients are provided with the most extraordinary results.
I now employ over 30 staff and have established my own legal firm. PDC Law became authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority on 01.09.2016 and announced the ground-breaking ‘No Win No Fee Service’ in conjunction with PDC Law on 05.09.2016. This has led to Property Debt Collection successfully recovering on average over £15 million in service charge and ground rent arrears for over 140 clients nationwide each year.
In fact, over the last 10 years we have received over 186,000 instructions and successfully collected over £192 million for our Clients.

Where any performance, management, compliance, complaint, human resource or client issue is identified, I work to find solutions, implement company policy and any necessary changes.
I regularly deal with the FCA, FOS, PDC Law, Clients, Customers and their reporting requirements; especially when any matter becomes increasingly more complicated or is escalated and a complaint requires investigation and response.
I provide direction, guidance and motivation to ensure the firms’ strategic vision is met. I oversee the firms online and offline promotional marketing activities, including the organisation of events and conferences attended by the firm. In addition, I ensure the firms HR obligations are met."
Commercially aware, I provide leadership to optimise the firm’s financial performance and strategic position. I regularly undertake figure analysis and provide recommendations alongside the management team to support current activities and future growth."
Client communication is absolutely key and as part of my role I attend client sites, present reports and discuss often complicated matters pertaining to individual instructions.
Responsible for the continued development and retention of new business clients, I frequently attend key industry events such as ARMA, RESI and MIPIM."
